August favourites

Hello Everyone,

I have been trying to do a favourites post for like three months and only now I had enough patience to do it. I always miss my opportunity.
I love watching and reading monthly favourites as it is just simple way to find out a lot more products and also get a real opinion.

1. 'The Sky is everywhere' Jandy Nelson
First up is this book. I took probably a week to read this, not because it wasn't a good book but because I was too busy to read it.
This books is from Zoella's book club, hence it has a sticker which I couldn't get off. I do have the whole bunch and I must say, I love them all. Young adult section is my favourite to read and I just loved this one. It had everything: love, pain, hurt, lies and interesting setting. I will not say much but all I can say is this is a story about how a girl is trying to deal with her life after her sister dies.
My sister is only little and I am not that close with her as we live in two different countries so I don't know how would I deal with her loss but most probably not in the same way. Anyway it is a lovely read and I recommend. Also if you are a musician there is a great deal of music in there.

2. Moschino Cheap & Chick 'I Love' perfume.
I received this as a little present from my cousin. It is a fresh summery scent with a little kick.
Although this one is a little hard to find at the shops it does have an amazing offer on Amazon.

3. Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil 03.

A long and fancy name for a lip oil. I have made a blog post about one before and I wasn't that much impressed with it. Recently I realised that I almost finished my honey lip oil so I bought one in red berry scent.
I continuously reach for it. If I see it I always put it on. I just love it on my lips. I couldn't say that the oil made my lips magical, I much prefer Cremex when I need magic but in a long run I love this. It smells nice and it feels nice on your lips and it stays on your lips for a long time. Talking about scent I much prefer Red Berry over other two (Honey and Raspberry). I just think it smells like sweets and brings me back to the childhood.
It is priced at £19.

4. Sun, Traveling, Spain, Holidays.

As from title you can understand that I went (or still am) to Spain. I am here as an Au Pair and I will be doing a post all about it after my time here is finished.
In August, Spain is boiling. It was over 30 degrees all the time which means I get to much sun.
I was always a winter girl. I love snow, and frost, and cold, and winter clothes and layering. But now I love the sun. I love to wake up and see the sun through my window. I must say I got used to the hot weather and even though I still get hot I now can stand the heat.
Also I got a lovely tan which I am very attached too and I will be crying my eyes out when it fades.
Now travelling, well everyone loves travelling. I love the airports, I love the plaines and flying and everything in general. I love the duty free and restaurants. Just love it all.

5. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream.

I LOVE NYX make up. They have such a good range and so many different colours to really suit everyones needs and wishes. They are like a pro brand with the most affordable prices. As it has all the blushes and contour and 50 different brow products (well not 50 but you get me).
If you haven't tried anything from NYX I highly recommend. My favourites are their lip products (I have a few types and I love them all) and their eyeshadow pans. I haven't tried other things from NYX so I cannot comment on them.
This one is matte lipstick that dries and sets. However, it doesn't set as dry as many other liquid lipsticks and it does come off easily. This has a look of a liquid lipstick but the formula of a normal lipstick.
This one is in colour Cannes and it is a nude colour with a little brown undertone.

6. Bobbi Brown.

I heard million things about Bobbi Brown but I never got to use it until now. Let me tell you something. This is amazing. I love the bronzer in Golden Light (£28.50) It gives such a nice colour and it stays for the whole day. It also changes a little bit throughout the day to give you the most beautiful bronzed look. Honestly worth the money!
I love the eyeliner too, it is long wearing and apparently it doesn't move. Of course on me it doesn't wear long and it always transfers and runs as all of the other eyeliners do. However, the texture of this is amazing. It is thicker than MAC Black Track and it has more play time. It dries matte and very black. It costs £19 which is less than the MAC one and I think it is better than MAC as well.

7. Oval Brush.

Everyone has been raving about these Artiste Oval Brushes. I don't have that much money to spend on a set or even a brush so I got this one from Amazon for £1,70. I must say, this is insane. I can only imagine how much more insane the originals are, but right now this one will do too.  It gives full coverage with just the tiniest amount of product. The only downfall is it is too small for foundation. Of course I can use this too but it will take too much time and effort.
I use this brush for the concealer.

8. Sleek Matte Me.

I am obsessed with these. I have recently done a post about these, so if you want to know more, here's the link.

9. Lancome Hypnose Drama.

What can I say. This is one of my favourite mascaras. On a more expensive side (£23.50) but it does everything. It brushes my lashes, lengthens them and adds volume. I love the bend wand and the fact that the bristles are shorter at the front and back and longer on the sides. The shorter bristles applies the product and also adds length while the longer bristles brushes and gives you a nice finish.

10. Essence lip gloss.

These are super affordable, high glosses in very nice and neutral colours. There are some brighter colours in the collection too but also very nude ones.
These were about £2 although I cannot find them online, they do sell it in Walkinsons and probably Asda or other supermarkets.
If you want a nice cheap lipgloss I highly recommend these!

11. Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blushers.

Honestly I cannot get enough of these. They are so worth the £15.50 as you get so much product it would last you a lifetime. I just love it; the colours, the range and the finish.
You can blend this out to have just a light wash of colour with some shimmer or you can intensify it.
Sandler also sells in it samples (£2 each) as well. You get a 1ml sample but I must say that 1 ml will last you a long time and if you have them all you will not need another blushes and only one drop is enough for both cheeks.

12. Lipstick by Daniel Sandler.

Last but most certainly not the least. Keeping with the Sandler theme this is the best lipstick I tried. The colour is drop dead gorgeous on your lips. When I saw it in the tube I was a bit disappointed. It looked liked a vintage red which I wasn't that happy about but once I applied it I was in love with this colour. It doesn't bleed, it is so pigmented and it last forever. Super moisturizing and just beautiful and a must in your make up bag.
Priced at £13.25,  Casablanca is the best colour ever!!!!

What are you favourites this month?

Love Izabele

Nude lips

Hi there,

We all know that Matte lips are a huge thing right now. Everyone is looking for the best liquid lipstick and the make up companies bring out more liquid lipsticks although many fail there are some pretty darn awesome ones too.
For example Sleek is killing it with the matte lipsticks. I bought my first Matte me in Party Pink (which is a coraly red) about 3 years ago and I though it's the best thing ever.
Now Sleek has more colours than when I first bought it. Nudes, pinks, and darks.
I have got this in Bittersweet and it is a nude pinky shade. Very wearable everyday and with both heavy make-up and natural make-up.
The other colours I have is Old Hollywood (which is dark red), Birthday Suit (which is very nude).
It doesn't smell of anything and it does stay on pretty long time unless you eat.
I feel like this doesn't need to top up during your day as when you top up it can become crusty and weird. I only top up after a meal I had as the majority of lipstick is gone.
The price of this is £4.99 and I think this is the best one you can get from the drug store.
I haven't tried any of the more luxury brands but if this works why waste any more money?
I highly recommend this lipstick if you are looking for something affordable.

What is your favourite liquid lipstick?

Clarins Lip Oil

I have purchased this Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil a month or so ago and I must say it does what it says. It is glossy instantly, very light and very comfortable. It is like oil mixed with gloss but without it being sticky or annoying.
It is pricey, it costs £19 at a Clarins counter but you can get it cheaper online.
This lip oil is 01 Honey and it actually smells like a honey. There is a raspberry one but I think the raspberry sent is quite active that's why I didn't buy it.
It is clear on your lips and it does stay for a long time. I use it pretty much everyday.
I cannot say it super duper super but it does moisturise the lips and keeps them nice.
If you are looking for something luxurious this is great. It comes in a fancy packaging and the applicator is cool too.
Personally I think this is kind of like Elizabeth Arden 8 hour lip balm. If you like the Elizabeth Arden one you most definitely going to like this Clarins one. They both are very different in texture as this is an oil but they do kind of the same job.
My verdict is that if you want one you should get - you won't be disappointed. If you don't have a need for this then spend your money on something else it is not a must have product. But it is a really nice product.

What are you go to lip balms? I really need to try out more!

Lipstick pencils

This post is going to be a little pointless as I have no idea how much they are or where you can get them but if you see them anywhere please give them a second look because they are amazing.
I have got these as a present from my friend and I just could not post about them.
On the tube it says that they are made in Germany and it also say that two of them are from Forever 52 an the third one is from Miss & Mrs. I have them in 4,8 and 1 colours and these are really pigmented, really matte lipsticks. Number 4 is really nice berry colour, number 8 is a mix between brown and berry colour, I think this will look nice with heavy eye make up. Number 1 is corally orange and it is very flattering every day colour.
The Forever 52 ones smell like playdoh but I really love the smell of playdoh so I am not complaining. Miss & Mrs smells kind of weird but not off putting also once you put them on your lips you really can't smell anything.
These are long lasting they do come off a little when you eat but they are kiss proof so they will stay on the whole day and then you will need to use make up remover to take it off.

If you see them anywhere please let me know?

Maybelline Red Lips #3

Another Maybelline product I've tried was this Color Drama Lipstick in pencil tube. I loved that it is a wooden tube as it will sharpen nicely than those plastic pencil tubes. Actually are you suppose to sharpen those weird plasticky tubes?
The colour of this is  Red Essential and the price is £4.99. It is really pigmented and so easy to apply because you don't need a pencil. This lipstick has a matte kind of finish and it smells really nice and refreshing. In fact I think it smells like Hubba Bubba chewing gum.
I just love this lipstick, the colour is so pretty and it is easy to use or carry it around it also wears nicely but it wipes of easy.
If you are looking for something to carry on you I would recommend to check it out. It comes in many colours (nude and bright) and you can find it pretty much everywhere. Actually one of the colour is called Berry Much which I haven't seen but it is such a pretty berry colour, I will be on a hunt for that one.

What Maybelline lipsticks have you tried and what can you say about them?

Maybelline Red Lipstick #2

I have actually never owned a Maybelline lipstick. I have heard good things about but I would only reach for their mascaras. What a mistake that was.
I got to try two Maybelline products and I love them to bits!
This lipstick is form their NewYours ColourSensational Lipcolor range and the colour of this lipstick is Pleasure Me Red. The price is £6.99.
Oh My... I love this lipstick. It is so creamy and rich and pigmented. The colour is so beautiful. It is red but darkened red and just so sexy. The finish of this lipstick is between glossy and matte. It is kind of matte but it has the smallest amount of gloss and it is just iusgfovuhiqpj...
Another thing I noticed is that whenever I wear this my teeth look whiter, that is due to a lot of blue colouring in the colour mix of the lipstick.
I also think that this would suit a younger skin as well as more mature skin. By young I do not mean 14.
I must say this is one of the best drungstore lip product I have ever tried. I recommend this to everyone.

What is your go to Maybelline product? What is your favourite drugstore lipstick?

Topshop Red Lip #1

I have heard so so so so many good things about Topshop make-up but I have never tried any of it. I was on feelunique website and I bought this red wine lipstick. I thought the colour is so pretty and it is also matte which I like. Also if you have small lips and you want them to look bigger always go for Matte products.
Many people might not agree with me but I was not impressed. I thought it was highly overpriced for what the product is. I like the packaging and I love how it feels in you hand but I don't like the product. It stains the drier bits of your lips darker than the rest of your lip, it doesn't go on as smoothly or as pigmented as you would like. Although it doesn't dry your lips, it wears fine but I really don't like the effort I have to put into applying this lipstick for it to look good.
I also love the colour but you really have to work the lipstick in to get that colour.
This lipstick colour is called Beguiled and it costs £8.
Seriously this lipstick put me off Topshop make up for good. Maybe I got a weird lipstick but I don't want to try any more.

What is your experience with Topshop make up? What do you swear by?

Tanya Burr Cosmetics

I already mentioned that I had Tanya's advent calendar this year. I was super excited about the lipglosses and the eyeshadow. Mainly to see if it is any good. I loved the calendar and I love that it had many different products.

I was pleasantly surprised with the eyeshadow. There are two eyeshadows in the calendar and it is shimmery loose eye shadow. They come in colours: Starry Night and Creme Brulee. My favourite gotta be Creme Brulee (the coppery one on the right) purely because it is such a wearable colour and I wear it all the time. As it is loose powder you can build your pigmentation. I think the actual eyeshadow has about medium pigmentation but honestly it holds for so long. Again I use it on a cream eyeshadow and I kid you not it stays in place for the whole day.
I don't know maybe I bled more as it is a powder but it stays on my eyes the longest any eyeshadows have ever stayed. It is also super shimmery and just really pretty.
Now I really want to try her eyeshadow palettes. Although these colours are limited edition but I just want to warn you that these eyeshadow are really good, if she ever releases loose eyeshadows again!
I must say that the packaging is a crap. One of my eyeshadow lids just keep on opening up. However, I can see past that. I give her 15 out of 10!

Moving onto lipglosses I was kind of disappointed. I know that she can do a really pigmented lipgloss and very faint lipgloss.
Candy Frost (the one on the left) is super light in pigmentation yet it is very shimmery with a little purple tint but it is so faint you hardly see anything but shimmer. This is one of those lipglosses to have on no make up days or on the days where you hardly wear any make up. It is pretty and I love this lipgloss. Good addition to the calendar.

Bewitched (the on in the middle) I was disappointed with this one. In the tub the colour is so beautiful, berry red, however that is not the colour you get on your lips. I wanted more pigmentation.

Macaroon (the one on the right) this was my first lipgloss in the calendar and oh my it is the prittiest colour you've seen or had. It is really light pink, very nude with lots of shimmer and it is not super glossy it is just the best. Now you can understand my disappointment with the Bewitched. You kind want one lipgloss to be really light, another in the middle and third to be very strong. That's not the case in this calendar.
I wore this pretty much every day. I ditched my bright lipsticks and just wore this nude pinky lipgloss for weeks.
I love that they are in the little tubs with only 5ml of product. I will be sad to finish Macaroon but I like that they are so portable and you'll probably use them before they'll go out of date.
I also just love love love the smell of it. To me it smells like melted toffee and it just remind me of my childhood.

As these are a limited edition products it might seem a little pointless to write this blog post. However, next Christmas Tanya Burr is bringing out another Christmas range and I urge you to get it. You will be pleasantly surprised.

What is your Tanya Burr favourite product?

Lipgloss to show off

A Glossybox lipgloss was from Essence. It is a Liquid Lipstick in colour  04 Show Off. It is such a barging at £2.50. The quality of this lipstick is great, it is quite moisturising and very pigmented and super glossy but it isn't sticky like most lipglosses are.
I absolutely love this colour is very coraly pink but so wearable and the best bit is you can totally control the pigmentation. I absolutely love the wand too, it makes me feel safe. I don't know why but it just does, like I trust it.
I 100% recommend this lipstick if you are looking for something summery and playful.

Have you ever tried it? What do you think?

Plump Winter Lips

I will start by apologising for a dark picture but then I think it shows well how dark this lipstick is.
I always loved L'oréal make-up but I don't know why I never look at their counters. They have a great make up selection from foundation, eyeshadows to nail polishes and lipsticks.
But one day I was super down and I found this little beauty. I am always really appreciative of how good L'oréal packaging is especially their lipsticks. First of all it is gold, then it has that little thing on the lid which means you can only put the lid on one way only (it feels a little bit more secure), the smell of the lipstick is always sooooo good and feel luxurious and last but not least is that it says L'oréal on the actually lipstick like all the designer brands.
About the lipstick now, you can find it pretty much everywhere and it costs £6.99. When it is in the tub it looks like dark burgundy colour, however 462 Préliminare is purple when it is on the skin.
I would say it has medium pigmentation it is not super pigmented but it is not sheen wither. I think this lipstick would be amazing with a little bit more pigment and if it was matte maybe like Bourjois 24 Hour Stay lipsticks. It has a glossy finish that I am not a big fan of but that doesn't put me of this lipstick. I love this colour because it is just the ultimate autumn/winter lipstick.
Although you could look a little vampy (which is good for Halloween or any themed party) but I just love it and I hope you will fall in love with it too.

Pencil Lip Gloss

Because I own half of Kiko store, every time I go into the store I always look for something cool and affordable. Kiko are always bringing out new cool things, even perfume which actually is pretty good if you into these fresh smells.
I always uses to see these Pencil Lip Glosses and majority of them are in pretty nude colours so I though I should pick up one and try it out.
The price of these pencil was £3.90 and there were 17 colour you could choose from. Some of them had extra glitter in it and others were plain with little bit of shimmer.
I had picked up a plain one in colour 11 Mauve Beige. This one is in brown shade but still has some pink in it although not too much.
These pencil lip glosses are super pigmented but they aren't as glossy as you would think. Yes it has a gloss but it was very subtile and these aren't too sticky, which I love.
I am more of a bright colour lover but I just put in on now with no make up and I think with strong brow and plain face it would look so nice. It is one of those no-make up make up looks that are a little big stronger and different than just mascara and a blusher.
At first I thought this colour is not gonna suit me and as it is quite brown but it is lovely and it goes well with my greenish-blueish eyes.
My only downside is that you have to sharpen it. It is quite a chubby pencil so you need a big sharpener for it and those are hard to find, having said that I swear I had one of those, I need to find it.
I would highly recommend to a nude lover because it is super pigmented and moisturising and just looks great and is super affordable.

Nude Attitude

The fourth product from Glossybox is this Revlon Lipstick. I am not a fan of nudes. I have nudes but I rarely use them. I love my bright lipsticks, I think they suit me well and I don't have any confidence issues wearing them. Also I feel like nudes look so much better on people with darker skin. They skin and brown eyes are enough colour whereas I am super pale with God knows what colour eyes.
This one is a matte finish and it is very pigmented so you will need to make sure your lips are smotth and scrubbed. It is very much like MAC Satin lipstick, very rich yet matte.
The colour of this lipstick is 001 Nude Attitude  and to be honest on me it seems a little bit orange. In the tube the lipstick looks like it is foundation colour but it has orange undertone. I feel like this would be nice colour on darker skin rather than on pale as it makes me look ill. And, that is what nude lipsticks do to you if you don't get the right colour.
The price of this lipstick is £7.99 and you can find it at superdrugs, you might find luck in other shops and you most definitely find it online.
Revlon has a big range of colours and I am sure you will find you perfect match as for the actual quality for the lipstick I really like it! It is a great quality drug store lipstick for yourself and as a gift.

Merry Berry

My love for reds and berry lipstick is known and it is strong! I have tried many reds, luckily I have a good skin colour that suits many red tones. I prefer actual reds rather then orange reds or pink reds. This Clinique lipstick in Cherry pop is a red that has a cherry undertone. I found it a little weird at first because you do need to match your make up to this colour as it is quite strange.
I like the consistency of this lipstick and the colour is quite pigmented.
It is priced £16. Personally I think you can find cheaper lipsticks but if you want something luxury
this could be great for you. This is also a great gift. It comes in many different colours so there is one for everyone.

Lipsticks

Red and dirty pink lips

As you can see both these lipsticks are dearly love by me. They both are 12 hours stay from Bourjois although if I had to comment on how long they stayed I wouldn't say 12 hour. However, when you eat the middle area of your lips tends to disappear and outline remains which is very easy to just reapply after a meal. If you are on the date it might look a little bit silly so have that in mind (because we want only the best impressions on the dates).
The horizontal lipstick, which is like a dirty dark pink colour, is in number 30. I really really like this one when I just want something on my lips but have no idea what to wear. It goes well with everything and it really works very well of your natural lip flesh colour. The colour is visible but not bright and out there. If you are not comfortable with bright lipsticks but you want some pop of colour on your lips I highly recommend this one.
The vertical lipstick is a beautiful red in number 34. This is my favorite red out of all that I own. I always opt for this one as it really complements my skin colour. It is literally red, no yellows or pinks or oranges just plain red. It is not too light nor too dark it is just perfect.
These lipsticks have like a velvety finish, they are more matte but not quite and are not glossy at all but they are very moisturizing. My lips are never dry and I just love these lipsticks.

Lipstick

Pink Lips

I always wanted to get a bright lipstick but not so bright like plump colours or red, something that is everyday wearable but quite subtle. Of course I went to MAC to find a nice colour. I must say I wasn't impressed as I only found a few ones that I really like. MAC does a good range of reds or nudes and those colours were not what I was after. I did find this little gem. It is a colour Likable  in a cremesheen finish. Cremesheen finish means that it is glossy rather than matte.
The colour is very beautiful, pigmented and it even stains lips. The staining is good if you wanna maintain the colour through the day but you will struggle to take it off. A good make up remover will get the job done well so don't worry.
At the moment these lipsticks are for £15.50. They are pricey but it is MAC and all the make up is costly from MAC. Is it worth the price? No I don't think it is, but I got it as a treat for myself.
If you are looking for a very pretty dark pink to make your lips look all juicy and nice and you have extra cash to spend go for it. If you wanna treat yourself- go for it. It is a great colour and it will suit fair or tanned skin  and would really complement your skin and your eyes (whatever the colour they are).

Lipglosses

Tans Lip-glosses

As you can probably guess I do support YouTubers a lot. I love Zoella and her products (another post is coming) and I also love Tanya's products. I also have their books.....
I do have three of these lipglosses that are from her previous collection but I did managed to find websites who still sell products from old collection.
First from the left is Heart Skipped a Beat this one is my second lipgloss that I bought and I got this one from TKMaxx. (If you are in TKMaxx look out for Tanya Burr products.) It has a little red tint to it but not so much, and a lot of sparkle. It smells like sour sweets and I just love it because it is such an everyday lipstick. I always have it in my bag and use it sometimes  during the day if I forgot my original lipstick or I had none. The reason why I love it it's because it is just a little tint that make your lips look nice and juicy and it fit everywhere. (This colour has been discontinued and it is a shame although I have plenty to get me through.)
Next colour is Just Peachy and I love and hate this one. This was my first ever purchase and I was debating between a few colours but as I bought it online I had no idea what the texture or the colour would be. It turned out to be very pigmented and I would even say a bit too pigmented. It is a strong nude and you literally need the tiniest bit on your lips and you really need to blend it in as it is so pigmented it would leave you looking like a caked up doll and if your lips are cracked then God forbid, just stay away from this one. That's the reason why I hate it but you need the smallest amount which means it will last you forever. Also after a few hours it tends to build the white line where your lips go from outside skin to inside and it could make you look like you've been doing inappropriate things. However, I don't seem to notice that with other colours. Just Peachy  still smells amazing and it is a good nude lipsgloss for a pale girl and it is continued in a new collection but I cannot comment on the texture of the new one, they might have changed it slightly.
The second one from the right was bought at the same time as the newest lipgloss and the reason why I bought it was because feelunique.com was trying to clear out and it was like mad cheap it was £1.67 from usual £6.99. I don't seem to see the same deal anymore but you can give it a browse and you might find something (there are a lot of good deals on her nail polishes). The colour of this lipgloss is called Chocolate Fondue, I love this colour so much it is another everyday wearable and fits everything maybe because it doesn't do much besides glosses your lips. I was very pessimistic about this colour because I though it was going to come out brown and it won't suit me. To my surprise it's not brown on your lips at all, I assume it does have a little undertone which just corrects your lip tone but it mainly shimmers. Again it doesn't come in a new collection so look up if you want this one.
The last one but definitely not the least is the newest Tanya Burr lipgloss in Berry Picking, I thought it would be a lot more plump but it has a dark red undertone with a LOT of golden sparkles. At the moment I am loving everything that's gold. The colour is pigmented enough but not too much like Just Peachy I would say a right amount for a lipstick. It is a pound cheaper but it is because it 0.5mL less than the original ones. However, I do love the packaging so much more. It makes it feel like a luxury product. It is a little bit bigger and edger but oh my I love it. I think it's the gold thing.
The difference between the collections are the packaging, the price, the smell and new colours. I love all the colours that comes with the new collection and I want them all! Also the sent is a lot more sweeter but it still smells like sweets which is very overwhelming, well at least to me. The price was originally £6.99 and now it is £5.99 but as I mentioned earlier it is 0.5mL less.
All in all I would totally recommend these lipglosses to anyone, you can easily find your colour that would suit you and I can promise you will love it as much as I do.

Yours Izabele

Lipstick

Autumn Lips.

As autumn is 7 days in and is not backing down, so should lipsticks. This one is from Kiko (my fav store which should ban me...) it is in colour 12 and it's a velvety finish that stains your lips and does not move. That is a brilliant reason to get this lipstick and love it. Literally it is so hard to get it off and the colour is in between sheen and matte which is such a autumny thing. I opted for a red wine colour that kind of has a purply undertone so it is not fully red. I like it because it is such a sassy colour on me and it really does remind me of colder months.
I got this on a deal but I think it's original price is around £6. It's a normal price for a lipstick that you will love using and just love like I do!

Lip Balm

Autumn Essentials: Lips.

Autumn has hit UK big time! It is not that kind of rainy, muddy and all you wanna do is stay at home autumn, it is pretty and sunny however all the warmth is vanished so it is time to really take care of your skin and lips and to bring out those jumpers you hid since winter.
I do like autumn as it is coming up to winter and that is my favorite time. I love candles (oh that's another obsession I should definitely blog about...), and jumpers, and apple cinnamon muffins and fire places ahhhh everything that's cosy I love it.
I also love this nourishing lip balm. I usually wear a lot of lipsticks so I would use it at home or when I have really dry lips or if I am doing make-up free. It is 8 hours cream it doesn't stay on your lips for 8 hours but it keep your lips nourished for very long time. It also have SPF of 20 which keeps your lips protected from the sun and as lips are a thin skin you definitely need that protection.
I used to use a lot of Vaselines and I really used to have the feeling it left on my lips, this lip balm feels a little more of a cream consistency but it doesn't bother me much. There is a lip applicator that is super helpful, how many of you stuck your finger into your Vaseline and applied on your lips thinking how many germs there is and where to clean your finger after your application? It doesn't really have a smell of anything but the smell reminds me of a pharmaceutical product, and it doesn't taste of anything either.
As it is Elizabeth Arden product it is pricy. It costs £19 and it's 14.2g of product. I think it is worth if Vaselines don't help you much as it really nourishes your lips. I will be reaching for this lip balm a lot more now that colder months are coming!
