BB bronzer

Hello everyone,

Once I was shopping for summer make up and I stumbled across this little thing. I have never seen a BB bronze cream so I was very intrigued and wanted to try it. As you may know the lights in the make up shops are the worse for picking your shade, however when I tried this Maybelline BB Bronzer on my hand I saw that it has a tint of colour and lot of golden glitter so it went straight to my basket.
What this is, is a BB cream mixed with tan and golden shimmer. When it comes out the bottle is very dark but then you would blend it into your skin and it gives you a really nice tan and shimmer. After some time it sets into your skin and it evens your skin tone and it lightens in colour. It has a sheer foundation coverage with a tan and some shimmer.
It has the SPF of 25 and it comes in two colours: Light/Medium and Medium/Dark. Mine is Light/Medium.
Before I used to apply it with a brush but sometimes I'd have to really blend it out, now I put a little bead onto my finger rub it in between my hands and apply it as a normal moisturiser and I feel like this way it gives me the most natural finish.
The price of BB Bronzer this is £6.99.
If you feel like you are a little pale and want to give some warmth and a bit of shimmer I highly recommend this BB cream.  It has a very lovely fresh smell and it will last you a really long time as a little goes a long way.

Have you found anything interesting and worth trying? What do you use during the warm summer months?

Maybelline Red Lips #3

Another Maybelline product I've tried was this Color Drama Lipstick in pencil tube. I loved that it is a wooden tube as it will sharpen nicely than those plastic pencil tubes. Actually are you suppose to sharpen those weird plasticky tubes?
The colour of this is  Red Essential and the price is £4.99. It is really pigmented and so easy to apply because you don't need a pencil. This lipstick has a matte kind of finish and it smells really nice and refreshing. In fact I think it smells like Hubba Bubba chewing gum.
I just love this lipstick, the colour is so pretty and it is easy to use or carry it around it also wears nicely but it wipes of easy.
If you are looking for something to carry on you I would recommend to check it out. It comes in many colours (nude and bright) and you can find it pretty much everywhere. Actually one of the colour is called Berry Much which I haven't seen but it is such a pretty berry colour, I will be on a hunt for that one.

What Maybelline lipsticks have you tried and what can you say about them?

Maybelline Red Lipstick #2

I have actually never owned a Maybelline lipstick. I have heard good things about but I would only reach for their mascaras. What a mistake that was.
I got to try two Maybelline products and I love them to bits!
This lipstick is form their NewYours ColourSensational Lipcolor range and the colour of this lipstick is Pleasure Me Red. The price is £6.99.
Oh My... I love this lipstick. It is so creamy and rich and pigmented. The colour is so beautiful. It is red but darkened red and just so sexy. The finish of this lipstick is between glossy and matte. It is kind of matte but it has the smallest amount of gloss and it is just iusgfovuhiqpj...
Another thing I noticed is that whenever I wear this my teeth look whiter, that is due to a lot of blue colouring in the colour mix of the lipstick.
I also think that this would suit a younger skin as well as more mature skin. By young I do not mean 14.
I must say this is one of the best drungstore lip product I have ever tried. I recommend this to everyone.

What is your go to Maybelline product? What is your favourite drugstore lipstick?

Nail Polish Favourites

I am kind of making a series of my nail polishes. Mainly because I was super obsessed with nails back in a day. I have so many nail polishes but I don't use them often. I have my quality Kiko nail polishes that I always reach for, I feel like they last so much longer on me than any other nail polish brand.
Many of the polishes I choose are mainly about the colour. To be honest I don't mind changing my nails everyday. I used to be obsessed with nail but now I  just love tidy nails and I want mine to always look really good.
So these nail polishes I like are mainly because of the colour. (from left to right.)

Maybelline colour show 357 Burgundy kiss - I love this colour, although I feel like it needs a little bit more pigmentation and it also chips really easily on me.
Revlon Perfumerie 090 Bordeaux - I really like the name and the colour of this polish. I was also very curious about this perfume new technology. Wet nail polish still smells like wet nail polish but it does have a tint of a smell. When it dries it does smell kind of nice. This polish is average on the chipping side, it is not like Kiko but not as bad as Maybelline.
Collection Long Lasting Nail Effects 32 Strawberry Gold - I already made a post on this nail polish and I will link it here.
Kate Spade by Nails INC Soho Silver - I think this colour is so cool however, I can't say that chipped nails are cool too. This chips so fast it is unbelievable but the colour is to die for.
Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint 437 Rose Hip - this nail polish is another good quality nail polish. Super shiny and holds well. The colour I felt like it was too pigmented. I suppose if I was to choose black or any of the dark colours I would be happy with the pigmentation but this colour in particular is too strong.
Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails - I really like this nail straightening product. I use it on its one, I use it under my nail polish and I do feel like it help a little bit. Only a little bit.

I feel like this post and my comments will not be helpful for everyone. I don't have many colour from these ranges but I like the ones I have. I just wanted to give you my thought process for each nail polish. I hope you can understand what I was trying to say.
You can find these online as well as boots or superdrug and these range from £2 to about £5.

What are your go to nail polishes?

Mascaras

Mascaras

Hello! I've used variety of mascaras, of course I didn't take pictures of all of them
as I don't have them with me however, I gathered a few and I'll talk about them.

1. L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara (brown) - hmmm mascara does the job, nothing too fancy nothing too bad. The brush is quite useless however, it is great for bottom lashes and if you are about to run out of mascara you can use it on your brows to give that stronger shape and to keep your brows in place. (I've heard rumors that is discontinued, although you can find it on the internet)

2. Maybelline Lash Stiletto (brown) - this mascara is great if you like to keep your make up as natural as possible. It makes the lashes so thin and long also the mascara is really nice, I hardly noticed any fall out. (this is discontinued also, plenty on the internet though. )

3. L'Oreal False Lash Architect 4 Dimension Effect Mascara (black) - Again nothing too amazing about this. I really like the brush, I'm more of a normal bushy wand kind of girl rather than plastic ones. I don't think it has they 4 dimension effect but as a l'Oreal product is an OK one.

4. Oriflame glitter Mascara - I reallllly do not like this brush nor the mascara. You can't really see the glitter that much and the wand just glues your lashes together - yuuuuck!

5. Dior Diorshow Mascara (black) - as a more luxury product I really like this one. The product is really nice the wand is amazing, maybe a bit too big but I like it. The product has a hint of nice scent which is really nice, it gives that luxury feeling. On the down side it dries much quicker than drugstore mascaras.

6. YSL Shocking (no 5) - I bought this because I wanted that burgundy coloured mascara, however this one is kind of purpulish/burgundish/ black. It is a reallly nice mix if you don't want to go too much on a colour but you want to make your eyes bring out that green! The wand is nice however, does leave some clumps. Also has a lovely scent to it too. Again luxury product so it will dry our quicker.

7. Benefit They're Real (black) -  O - M - G!!! The best thing I've ever laid my hands on. Honestly I was sooooo skeptical about it, until I tried it. And what a relief.  The product holds great on lashes, the wand is just amazing. It brushes very well, it makes your lashes fuller and longer aaaand it also has some bristles on the end of the wand so you can get those corners easily. I really like the packaging too, It looks quite unique. Also it is pricey and it dries out quickly too. (I had mine for about 3 months and it is on a dry side.)

I hope you liked my thoughts on these mascaras. I'm more of a stick to one
product person. I don't like the changes unless I didn't like the product so I don't have too much to talk about.
If you have any suggestions feel free to leave them!
