Maybelline Red Lips #3

Another Maybelline product I've tried was this Color Drama Lipstick in pencil tube. I loved that it is a wooden tube as it will sharpen nicely than those plastic pencil tubes. Actually are you suppose to sharpen those weird plasticky tubes?
The colour of this is  Red Essential and the price is £4.99. It is really pigmented and so easy to apply because you don't need a pencil. This lipstick has a matte kind of finish and it smells really nice and refreshing. In fact I think it smells like Hubba Bubba chewing gum.
I just love this lipstick, the colour is so pretty and it is easy to use or carry it around it also wears nicely but it wipes of easy.
If you are looking for something to carry on you I would recommend to check it out. It comes in many colours (nude and bright) and you can find it pretty much everywhere. Actually one of the colour is called Berry Much which I haven't seen but it is such a pretty berry colour, I will be on a hunt for that one.

What Maybelline lipsticks have you tried and what can you say about them?

So Susan Highlighter

This product was one of my least favourite from Golssybox. Not that there is something horribly wrong with it, it does what a highlighter is suppose to do, I am just not excited for it.
I am becoming a fan of compressed powder highlighters, I find them a lot easier to apply and blend in. I notice that cream highlighters are stronger but they are so hard to blend in and once you do you loose half of the product so what is the point.
I find it especially hard to work with products such a sticks rather than original circle packaging with a cream highlighter inside. Purely because you will use your fingers or a brush to apply the product.
This highlighter is in a very pretty cream colour. It doesn't have gold shimmer I'd say it is more white/light pink shimmer which is really nice for young girls or very simple make up look.
It sets nicely but it is movable after it sets and it is just a pretty highlighter.
I also really like the shape of the pen it makes it easier to reach for corners such as brow arch or inside your eye.
It's price is £15 for 1.8g of product and it is 100% cruelty free.

Pencil Lip Gloss

Because I own half of Kiko store, every time I go into the store I always look for something cool and affordable. Kiko are always bringing out new cool things, even perfume which actually is pretty good if you into these fresh smells.
I always uses to see these Pencil Lip Glosses and majority of them are in pretty nude colours so I though I should pick up one and try it out.
The price of these pencil was £3.90 and there were 17 colour you could choose from. Some of them had extra glitter in it and others were plain with little bit of shimmer.
I had picked up a plain one in colour 11 Mauve Beige. This one is in brown shade but still has some pink in it although not too much.
These pencil lip glosses are super pigmented but they aren't as glossy as you would think. Yes it has a gloss but it was very subtile and these aren't too sticky, which I love.
I am more of a bright colour lover but I just put in on now with no make up and I think with strong brow and plain face it would look so nice. It is one of those no-make up make up looks that are a little big stronger and different than just mascara and a blusher.
At first I thought this colour is not gonna suit me and as it is quite brown but it is lovely and it goes well with my greenish-blueish eyes.
My only downside is that you have to sharpen it. It is quite a chubby pencil so you need a big sharpener for it and those are hard to find, having said that I swear I had one of those, I need to find it.
I would highly recommend to a nude lover because it is super pigmented and moisturising and just looks great and is super affordable.

Make-up

My Kiko collection

Before I took all of my items out for the pictures I though I had a variety of Kiko products but it turned out that I only had eye shadows and lipsticks, and I think they are the best.

These eye shadows are super pigmented and can be used wet and dry. It stays quite well and it doesn't fall out that much when applying. However some of these eye shadows that I own are discontinued. For example:
white shimmery (168 discontinued) - really nice as highlighter and to wear on the inside of the eye. It has a lot glitter sparkles so it's great for dressy make up.
sparkly black (28 discontinued) - again great wet or dry. I use it as eyeliner if I don't want to use eyeliner. Sparkly bits are hard to see but I think they make your make up look prettier.
brown (120 discontinued but could be substituted by infinity eyeshadow 217 satin ebony) - mainly I use it for the eyebrows also because it is mat. It has ashy undertone, which works very well with brown. It creates a really nice natural colour for your eyebrows (works well with all type of hair colours).
satin wood brown (123) - also great wet or dry. This one is lighter than 120 and has shimmer in it. Great colour for crease work. It blends easily and it can be build into intense brown colour.
purple with a blue sparkles (159 discontinued) - this is an amazing colour. It works for purple and for blue as sparkles are blue (or at least it appears so). It is a great colour to have.

this is another pallet (addictive song 02) that has been discontinued. I think it was one of their street limited edition pallets. It has great autumn colours, which can be use wet or dry and they are really pigmented and stays on the eyes pretty well.
white gold (18) - sparkle based pigment. It's great for snazzing up your make up because the sparkles as very noticeable.

Let's move onto lipsticks. It's probably my favorite part of the make up.

coral (904 strawberry pink) - great every day colour. It is bright but not too bright. It is very moisturizing and has a glossy finish.
pink (911 watermelon) - this colour is very subtle and has some shimmer, it would be very nice with heavy eye make up to make those lips even prettier.
purple (914 amaranth) really dark colour. It does make you look a little bit older and without a lip liner you will not survive but it is really pretty autumn colour and it would work really well on a night out with some light eye make up.

pink (804 pearly watermelon) - these lipsticks are in between lip gloss and lipstick, they are pigmented but they do have a really glossy finish. Also they smell really good. It's a subtle colour and has some glitter particles - great for every day.
purple (811 raspberry ) - same as above, pigmented but super glossy, smells great. However it is much more of a darker colour but not too dark so for those who like brighter lipsticks - this one is for you.
dark pink ( 42 discontinued ) - it is a shame that they discontinued it because it is such an amazing lipstick. it smells like cherries and almonds and the colour is deep but really wearable AND it has a velvety finish - PERFECT AUTUMN LIPSTICK or winter.

Last but not least are the lip liners.

purple (  710 rouge noir ) - I use this one with my 914 lipstick as they mach perfectly and sometimes with 811. Also I use it under red lipstick and it gives me a nice dark red with a purple undertone, which looks nice. This pencil is mat and stays very well on the lips.
orange ( 605 orange ) - I use this with 804 as it brings out the coral colour of the lipstick. This pencil is a glossy pencil and it is not as pigmented as the 710 so this could be worn just on it's own. AND it smells like skittles!!

My Kiko collection isn't big but I wear a lot of these products daily. They are at a great price and the quality is just amazing. Also I think the packaging looks so chic. However I tried couple of their mascaras and I was not a fan of those. I liked the wands but I didn't like the actual product. And their pink exfoliating wipes are also really nice, if you like wipes that is (but they smelled really nice).
All in all I would 100% recommend this brand for everyone!
