Tanya Burr Cosmetics

I already mentioned that I had Tanya's advent calendar this year. I was super excited about the lipglosses and the eyeshadow. Mainly to see if it is any good. I loved the calendar and I love that it had many different products.

I was pleasantly surprised with the eyeshadow. There are two eyeshadows in the calendar and it is shimmery loose eye shadow. They come in colours: Starry Night and Creme Brulee. My favourite gotta be Creme Brulee (the coppery one on the right) purely because it is such a wearable colour and I wear it all the time. As it is loose powder you can build your pigmentation. I think the actual eyeshadow has about medium pigmentation but honestly it holds for so long. Again I use it on a cream eyeshadow and I kid you not it stays in place for the whole day.
I don't know maybe I bled more as it is a powder but it stays on my eyes the longest any eyeshadows have ever stayed. It is also super shimmery and just really pretty.
Now I really want to try her eyeshadow palettes. Although these colours are limited edition but I just want to warn you that these eyeshadow are really good, if she ever releases loose eyeshadows again!
I must say that the packaging is a crap. One of my eyeshadow lids just keep on opening up. However, I can see past that. I give her 15 out of 10!

Moving onto lipglosses I was kind of disappointed. I know that she can do a really pigmented lipgloss and very faint lipgloss.
Candy Frost (the one on the left) is super light in pigmentation yet it is very shimmery with a little purple tint but it is so faint you hardly see anything but shimmer. This is one of those lipglosses to have on no make up days or on the days where you hardly wear any make up. It is pretty and I love this lipgloss. Good addition to the calendar.

Bewitched (the on in the middle) I was disappointed with this one. In the tub the colour is so beautiful, berry red, however that is not the colour you get on your lips. I wanted more pigmentation.

Macaroon (the one on the right) this was my first lipgloss in the calendar and oh my it is the prittiest colour you've seen or had. It is really light pink, very nude with lots of shimmer and it is not super glossy it is just the best. Now you can understand my disappointment with the Bewitched. You kind want one lipgloss to be really light, another in the middle and third to be very strong. That's not the case in this calendar.
I wore this pretty much every day. I ditched my bright lipsticks and just wore this nude pinky lipgloss for weeks.
I love that they are in the little tubs with only 5ml of product. I will be sad to finish Macaroon but I like that they are so portable and you'll probably use them before they'll go out of date.
I also just love love love the smell of it. To me it smells like melted toffee and it just remind me of my childhood.

As these are a limited edition products it might seem a little pointless to write this blog post. However, next Christmas Tanya Burr is bringing out another Christmas range and I urge you to get it. You will be pleasantly surprised.

What is your Tanya Burr favourite product?

Lipgloss to show off

A Glossybox lipgloss was from Essence. It is a Liquid Lipstick in colour  04 Show Off. It is such a barging at £2.50. The quality of this lipstick is great, it is quite moisturising and very pigmented and super glossy but it isn't sticky like most lipglosses are.
I absolutely love this colour is very coraly pink but so wearable and the best bit is you can totally control the pigmentation. I absolutely love the wand too, it makes me feel safe. I don't know why but it just does, like I trust it.
I 100% recommend this lipstick if you are looking for something summery and playful.

Have you ever tried it? What do you think?

December GlossyBox

As you may or may not know I am in love with Glossybox. I ordered my first November Glossybox box and then a few weeks later I saw that a new fancy box is coming for December too which I had to get. This one comes in special goldish/copperish box that say "Let it snow." with amazingly pretty ribbon that I used on one of my Christmas presents.
It is a beauty box picked by Youtuber Really-Ree and I like what is inside the box and also you get 6 products rather than usual 5.
Since I got this box in the middle of December and I am writing a blog post now, I got to try nearly all of these products.
I really love this box and I really love all the products in it. Now I will give a blog post to each product and talk more about them .

Pencil Lip Gloss

Because I own half of Kiko store, every time I go into the store I always look for something cool and affordable. Kiko are always bringing out new cool things, even perfume which actually is pretty good if you into these fresh smells.
I always uses to see these Pencil Lip Glosses and majority of them are in pretty nude colours so I though I should pick up one and try it out.
The price of these pencil was £3.90 and there were 17 colour you could choose from. Some of them had extra glitter in it and others were plain with little bit of shimmer.
I had picked up a plain one in colour 11 Mauve Beige. This one is in brown shade but still has some pink in it although not too much.
These pencil lip glosses are super pigmented but they aren't as glossy as you would think. Yes it has a gloss but it was very subtile and these aren't too sticky, which I love.
I am more of a bright colour lover but I just put in on now with no make up and I think with strong brow and plain face it would look so nice. It is one of those no-make up make up looks that are a little big stronger and different than just mascara and a blusher.
At first I thought this colour is not gonna suit me and as it is quite brown but it is lovely and it goes well with my greenish-blueish eyes.
My only downside is that you have to sharpen it. It is quite a chubby pencil so you need a big sharpener for it and those are hard to find, having said that I swear I had one of those, I need to find it.
I would highly recommend to a nude lover because it is super pigmented and moisturising and just looks great and is super affordable.

Lipglosses

Tans Lip-glosses

As you can probably guess I do support YouTubers a lot. I love Zoella and her products (another post is coming) and I also love Tanya's products. I also have their books.....
I do have three of these lipglosses that are from her previous collection but I did managed to find websites who still sell products from old collection.
First from the left is Heart Skipped a Beat this one is my second lipgloss that I bought and I got this one from TKMaxx. (If you are in TKMaxx look out for Tanya Burr products.) It has a little red tint to it but not so much, and a lot of sparkle. It smells like sour sweets and I just love it because it is such an everyday lipstick. I always have it in my bag and use it sometimes  during the day if I forgot my original lipstick or I had none. The reason why I love it it's because it is just a little tint that make your lips look nice and juicy and it fit everywhere. (This colour has been discontinued and it is a shame although I have plenty to get me through.)
Next colour is Just Peachy and I love and hate this one. This was my first ever purchase and I was debating between a few colours but as I bought it online I had no idea what the texture or the colour would be. It turned out to be very pigmented and I would even say a bit too pigmented. It is a strong nude and you literally need the tiniest bit on your lips and you really need to blend it in as it is so pigmented it would leave you looking like a caked up doll and if your lips are cracked then God forbid, just stay away from this one. That's the reason why I hate it but you need the smallest amount which means it will last you forever. Also after a few hours it tends to build the white line where your lips go from outside skin to inside and it could make you look like you've been doing inappropriate things. However, I don't seem to notice that with other colours. Just Peachy  still smells amazing and it is a good nude lipsgloss for a pale girl and it is continued in a new collection but I cannot comment on the texture of the new one, they might have changed it slightly.
The second one from the right was bought at the same time as the newest lipgloss and the reason why I bought it was because feelunique.com was trying to clear out and it was like mad cheap it was £1.67 from usual £6.99. I don't seem to see the same deal anymore but you can give it a browse and you might find something (there are a lot of good deals on her nail polishes). The colour of this lipgloss is called Chocolate Fondue, I love this colour so much it is another everyday wearable and fits everything maybe because it doesn't do much besides glosses your lips. I was very pessimistic about this colour because I though it was going to come out brown and it won't suit me. To my surprise it's not brown on your lips at all, I assume it does have a little undertone which just corrects your lip tone but it mainly shimmers. Again it doesn't come in a new collection so look up if you want this one.
The last one but definitely not the least is the newest Tanya Burr lipgloss in Berry Picking, I thought it would be a lot more plump but it has a dark red undertone with a LOT of golden sparkles. At the moment I am loving everything that's gold. The colour is pigmented enough but not too much like Just Peachy I would say a right amount for a lipstick. It is a pound cheaper but it is because it 0.5mL less than the original ones. However, I do love the packaging so much more. It makes it feel like a luxury product. It is a little bit bigger and edger but oh my I love it. I think it's the gold thing.
The difference between the collections are the packaging, the price, the smell and new colours. I love all the colours that comes with the new collection and I want them all! Also the sent is a lot more sweeter but it still smells like sweets which is very overwhelming, well at least to me. The price was originally £6.99 and now it is £5.99 but as I mentioned earlier it is 0.5mL less.
All in all I would totally recommend these lipglosses to anyone, you can easily find your colour that would suit you and I can promise you will love it as much as I do.
