I have always raved about Kiko, I love their eyeshadows and their nail polishes and all the bronzers and lipsticks and basically everything. I love that it's cheap and also a good quality. However I always heard people talk about Make-up Geek eyeshadows and bronzers and blushes, and I just didn't know if it was worth the hype. Also in UK you can't get them easily. 

You can order Make-up Geek at Beauty Bay website and they are £4.95 for an eyeshadow pan, if your purchase is more than £15 you get shipping for free. They also have lots of other brands. 

Let's talk about these eyeshadows.

 I only have one colour here but I own five colours in total. I have never used eyeshadow so pigmented and cheap and bendable and long wearing. Make-up Geek got it good. It is literally the God of eyeshadow.

This one is in colour Americano and it is dark brown with lots of purple in. The pictures on the website are not the true colours but they are very close. Nor is mine.

I have never worked with eyeshadows so pigmented and they blend easily. They have a really good pay of and they last a long time. 

I recommend recommend recommend to try these eyeshadows and to fall in love with them. They have 94 colours to choose from so I am sure you will find something you like. They might have just a tiniest bit fall out. 

They are so worth it.

primer posion

Hello pretty faces, 

I made a blog post about Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray and I talked about how much I liked it. When I bought a setting spray I also picked up this primer. Everyone knows Urban Decay primers and everyone is always talking about them. 

I have very oily eyelids and I always wanted to get this as I thought this would solve my problems. When I saw primer potion at the airport I thought I would by a travel size and see how I get on with it. The 10ml original tube costs £16 and a travel size is 5ml and it costs £8. I think this is brilliant, it is half the size and half the price. It also comes in three colours.

I didn't want to buy the whole thing just in case I don't like it. Now, you see when you have high hopes for something you really want to be surprised, and I was but in a negative way. I didn't really like this primer. It didn't prolong the eyeshadow wear. The blending was a lot easier and more vibrant but I wasn't looking for that, I was looking for long wearing product. 

Now that I got to use it a little bit more I am ok with it. I will not repurchase it though. 

When I use this I put a Collection eyeshadow pencil on top and then I add any eyeshadows. This way my eyeshadow stays put all day. Well it creases a little bit but not so much you can see it. 

I love using this eyeshadow stick on it's own but I find that with Urban Decay primer it stays on a little bit longer.

H&M cream eyeshdow

Hello you all, 

I am always looking for a perfect cream eyeshadow to use it as a base coat as well as to use it on its own when I have very bold lips or when I need something quick and simple. 

I have tried a few but I have never found the perfect brown colour that could suit every eyeshadow I have. 

This Colour Essence Eye Cream from H&M is the perfect colour. It is shimmery but not too much and it has as much tint as you want. You can easily blend this out and have a little colour wash or you can really build it up. I am not lying when I said it suits every colour I have, it just goes with everything. The texture is so light and even silky, it is beautiful. 

I usually apply this with a brush. I don't know why but I honestly don't know how to use finger for this. It looks patchy and not blended and just weird when I do it with a finger so I never use a finger. Maybe I need to go on a course that teaches me how to apply make-up with my hands. 

I must admit this eyeshadow creased after a while so I always put a primer underneath. 

This is in Dauphine Truffle and it costs £4.99.  As I said before it is quite hard to find this in-store unless you are in super H&M store so ordering online would be your best bet. 

If you are looking for the perfect eyeshadow cream that will go with everything and that is lovely in texture I highly recommend this!

Gorgeous Eyes

Hello Lovely faces, 

I feel like this needs a little context. I love youtuber Tanya Burr and I also love her everyday make up. She always adds this brownly colour on her lower lash line and with her brown eyes it works so well and it looks lovely and gorgeous. I wanted something like that for me too. Lately I have been looking for a green pencil with gold glitter. I wanted it to have a lot of gold glitter and just a little green pigment and I looked everywhere for a pencil like that and I could never find what I wanted. So I picked this up at H&M thinking this might be it but not bringing my hopes up.

When I tried I fell in love straight away. This was exactly what I have been looking for! 

You can find it only at big H&M stores or online and it cost £3.99.  

Online is probably your best bit but there are a lot of colours that are sold out. 

This colour is called Treasure Hunt, what a lovely name, and it is suppose to be water proof eyeliner/eyeshadow. It is super easy to blend and build up. It doesn't set quickly so you have a lot of play time with this. Honestly I use this most of the time on my lower lash line it is just beautiful and if you have greenish/bluish eyes I highly recommend. You blend out the green colour and your under eyes are left with a little green tint and lots of gold glitter.

I am so glad that this is not just another green pencil I used once and hid it somewhere in my make up draw. I love this so much, I wear it as eyeliner with simple eyeshadows, I wear it with a full on smoky eye, I even put this on my lower lash line when I am only wearing eyeliner and I never do that; I like my eyeliner to be clean! 

Check these eyeshadow/eyeliner pencils. There is 16 shades and some of there are super natural while others are plain gorgeous!

H&M Make-up

Hello people, 

So a few months ago I went into H&M super store and found all this fancy H&M make-up. I picked up a lot of pieces and this is one of them. 

It is a High Impact Eye Colour eyeshadow in Woodwork. 

It is the most beautiful brown colour. This colour will suit everyone as it is so versatile. It is originally a brown colour with a lot of gold and rose gold glitter with a green undertone.  You can really build this colour up and have it very bold or you can blend it down and have a little gold and rose gold shimmer with a hint of brown and green. It is just beautiful for smoking out, you can use a little bit on the eyelid and then build it up at the V (or the corner), you can also wear it on it's own. 

It's very easy to blend and it also says that it should stay put but it doesn't, well on my eyes it doesn't. But with the right primer and lots of layering it does stay on pretty well. 

It does fall out a little but not too much. It is also very creamy and just plain gorgeous. 

I am afraid you can only find these in big H&M stores or online, which is probably your best bit. It costs £4.99. 

The packaging felt a little cheap but then it is cheap. I also looked if there is a magnet as I want to take all of my eyeshadows and put them into one big palette but it is glued so that won't work.

I would highly recommend H&M new make-up range. I think it is brilliant and super affordable and I am always reaching for it! I only have their eye products and I am willing to try out more. (After posting this I am going onto H&M website and I am ordering a bunch of stuff. I am obsessed. )

Primed & Ready

Hello, 

I must admit Boots brands such as Collection, Barry-M, 17 are great for very affordable products. Of course some of these are going to be your holy grail and others are a total miss. 

There are some Collection products I like but this one is not one of them. 

I have super oily eyelids and this does nothing to me. It doesn't prolong the wear of my eyeshadows, it doesn't illuminate. In fact I am not so sure how you are suppose to use it. 

It is quite sticky in texture and it takes time to dry. Now this makes me think that I am suppose to use this primer and add eyeshadow so it works as a glue to my eyeshadow. Or should I use as little as possible and have it to dry very quickly and set into the eye. I tried both ways and both ways it was rubbish. 

There are pluses to this product too for example it is super cheap for the quantity you get. You pay £4.99 for a 15ml tube. This might sound not a lot but trust me it will last you two lifetimes. 

I suppose that is a plus side of this product. I mean if this works for you then it is a double win. 

However, I wouldn't be me if I didn't find use for this. Remember I had a Glitter post?

So I use it as my glue for glitter. As I said before it is quite sticky so I pack loads of primer on the eyes and add glitter while it is still sticky. I mean yeah it moves during the day but it is an alternative to a glitter glue. 

With this product I recommend to just go for it. Well if you know you have very oily eyelids then don't even look that way unless you want some glue for glitter. 

If your eyelids are not so oily then give this a go, you might find some illuminating properties too.

Champagne Glitter

Lately I have been obsessed with NikkieTutorials tutorials and her love for glitter is so inspiring so I thought I would give glitter a go. I have never owned a glitter for eyes. 

I was browsing in H&M as they had a make up range; to my surprise they changed the whole range and brought so many new cool things that I wanted to buy everything. I got quite a few things, I will keep you updated! 

This glitter is £4.99 and it weights 3.5 grams. It might sound like not a lot but there is so much in it, as glitter practically weights nothing. I honestly think it will last me a lifetime. You can't be wearing glitter everyday it is too messy. Well you can and if you do you go girl! 

It is like champagne colour with a warm undertone. The actual colour of this is called Catherine Wheel.  

As it is loose glitter it will fall out everywhere. Make sure you tap the excess and build it rather than clean up the mess after. It is not an eyeshadow so you most probably will have to have some sort of sticky coat under for the glitter. I usually use a primer and apply the glitter on a wet primer. There are glitter glue you can use too. I never tried the glue. 

It is definitely not a dust glitter, I would say it is quite chunky but it is super pretty. The top nozzle comes in rubber so you can really control how much glitter you want. The black nob on the top is secure as well. It is a nightmare to open this thing up. 

You might not be able to find these in every H&M store. I only found the range in the biggest store in Oxford Circus but you can always buy it online.

Kiko Cream Eyeshadows

I have heard a lot of good things about Kiko cream eyeshadows so I though I want to give it a go. I was thinking to get colours I could use underneath my normal eyeshadows but I also wanted a colour I could wear on its own. 

The colours I chose are: 04 Mat Taupe, 08 Pearly Dark Brown. At the moment they are for sale for £3.40 online and I'm pretty sure you might find then in certain Kiko shops. 

These shadows are very pigmented but you can blend them easily and make them as sheen as you want them to be. They set quite quickly but it gives you enough time to play around with them. When they set it feels as if this eyeshadow becomes your skin but they do crease after a while even with eyeshadows on top. When you put powder on a cream product you kind of set the cream product with powder. It is like to fill in the blanks. This way the product stays for longer. 

To be honest I wasn't too sure about the colours when I received them but I absolutely love them once I tried them on me.

The texture of these eyeshadows is very interesting. It feels like these eyeshadows are whipped and it feels really nice on your eyes and your hands. 

I think this is such an amazing and useful product and it is also cheap!!

Eyeliner that LASTS!

I have reached 100 blog posts, this one is 101 and I thought it would be nice to up my game a little. I have come a long way and I know that people love to be positive and happy in their blogs but that is not me. I love to keep things real, if I like something I will praise it if I don't I will diss it. I have come up with a few blog posts that make me passionate but once I have written them I would think "are they a little too negative?". Why would it matter, personally I love reading juicy gossipy bits. I have never met a person who would be happy about EVERYTHING.

Now I feel like I have started this of by saying that I wanna be true and I wanna share my experiences even though this post has nothing to do with negativity. 

Although I am still going to be talking about things that I love and my love is Kiko! (Nothing new here!)

I have parted quite a lot from Kiko in a past few years. I would love going into the shop but alas I would walk out empty handed. Nothing tickled my pickle. You know how annoying it is when you walk into your favourite shop and you cannot find anything for months!!! 

Recently I have done a Kiko order online and I got a lot of great things on sale which I worship. 

I almost ran out of my MAC Black Track which was amazing don't get me wrong but it is three times more expensive than this Kiko Lasting Eyeliner. I previously had a bad reaction to Kiko mascara so I wasn't sure if my eyes going to love this eyeliner. 

It is Lasting Gel Eyeliner which I wouldn't call gel but most definitely call it lasting. It is a black liner that sets matte but it's paint like texture. Very soft and very easy to maneuver. I wanna call it watery but I don't mean it in a way that the colour fades, no colour is as black as it comes. It is just super light and trust me a little goes a long way. Once it dries which is in seconds it is as if it is a part of the skin. Even my make up remover had to have a good fight with this eyeliner to get it off my lids. It did not seem to run after a long day and I have super oily eyelids and I just love it. 

It is still on sale for £4.40 on Kiko website. 

If you are looking for a super black eyeliner that DOES NOT MOVE this little guy is the best! My only advice is get a really thin tempered brush as is it very soft it doesn't hold the bristles together.

Metallic Shine

Another Kiko post? Of course! 

It is a limited edition very metalicy and shimmery eyeshadow. Not gonna lie I though this was a cream eyeshadow even thought it did say on the website that it was a powder. I think the tub made me believe that it was cream eyeshadow. 

It is from Metallic Shine  collection in colour 06 Dynamic Taupe. I love this colour and consistency. It is super shimmery and has a bit of a grey undertone once it is on the lids. It is quite creamy too. I think this would be super nice for the inside corner. It stays on pretty well and I love how much of the product you get and it also comes in a snazzy as tub! 

As it is a limited edition I don't think Kiko shops have this but you can order it on their website and it is only £3.40. It comes in four very pretty colours and I feel like these eyeshadows are buildable. You can make them as sheen as possible or as strong. I also think it has that wet look once you apply as it so shimmery.  

It is such a good value for money and just a really nice treat for yourself.

Kiko Eyeshadow Trio

Are you ready for Kiko posts? I have been shopping and I have tons of things to share with you! 

I am in love with Kiko. I have so many things from them and variety colours from their collections and I love it to bits. 

One thing I adore from Kiko is their eyeshadows. They have released now a third 'range' of their eyeshadows and they are just the best. These in the picture are from the second range called Infinite pigment eye shadows and they come in these pans rather than a secure box. To be completely honest I hate the fact that it comes in these pans because you can easily break them. 

I have three eyeshadow from this 'range'. Purely just because I got a lot of my eyeshadow colours in an original 'range'. When I talk about 'ranges' I mean their core range. They do other eyeshadows like Water eyeshadow which you can use both dry or wet there are also many glittery and shimmery eyeshadow that don't fall into these 'ranges' I am talking about. The reason they are different because they don't offer as many colours as the core 'range' does. I hope I didn't confuse you with all the 'range' talk. 

The ones I have are: 239 Matte Gray Taupe, which is a very light ashy/browny grey, 271 Pearly Gray, which is grey with like a light green undertone and shimmer, 289 Matte Dark Oak, which is very dark brown with ashy undertone. I use the 289 on my eyebrows when I am wearing a full make up, if I go for something really light on make up then I use 239. The difference between colours are massive but it works for me. I think using 239 with a full face makes me look like I don't have eyebrows. I would fill my eyebrows with 289 then brush it out and then if I need more definition I would go back to 239 and put that on top and then brush it out again. 

These eyeshadows are very pigmented but they blend so well and they stay on nicely. I just love them. Right now they are on offer for £2.80 their original price was £5.90. 

You can also look for palettes to put in these eyeshadows but I don't think they have many 2,4,6 eyeshadow palettes but you can find a single eyeshadow box for £1.90 on Kiko website.

I recommend you these shadows if you wanna have a few really good quality eyeshadows without hurting your bank account. These are the best!

Tanya Burr Cosmetics

I already mentioned that I had Tanya's advent calendar this year. I was super excited about the lipglosses and the eyeshadow. Mainly to see if it is any good. I loved the calendar and I love that it had many different products.

I was pleasantly surprised with the eyeshadow. There are two eyeshadows in the calendar and it is shimmery loose eye shadow. They come in colours: Starry Night and Creme Brulee. My favourite gotta be Creme Brulee (the coppery one on the right) purely because it is such a wearable colour and I wear it all the time. As it is loose powder you can build your pigmentation. I think the actual eyeshadow has about medium pigmentation but honestly it holds for so long. Again I use it on a cream eyeshadow and I kid you not it stays in place for the whole day. 

I don't know maybe I bled more as it is a powder but it stays on my eyes the longest any eyeshadows have ever stayed. It is also super shimmery and just really pretty. 

Now I really want to try her eyeshadow palettes. Although these colours are limited edition but I just want to warn you that these eyeshadow are really good, if she ever releases loose eyeshadows again! 

I must say that the packaging is a crap. One of my eyeshadow lids just keep on opening up. However, I can see past that. I give her 15 out of 10!

Moving onto lipglosses I was kind of disappointed. I know that she can do a really pigmented lipgloss and very faint lipgloss. 

Candy Frost (the one on the left) is super light in pigmentation yet it is very shimmery with a little purple tint but it is so faint you hardly see anything but shimmer. This is one of those lipglosses to have on no make up days or on the days where you hardly wear any make up. It is pretty and I love this lipgloss. Good addition to the calendar.

Bewitched (the on in the middle) I was disappointed with this one. In the tub the colour is so beautiful, berry red, however that is not the colour you get on your lips. I wanted more pigmentation. 

Macaroon (the one on the right) this was my first lipgloss in the calendar and oh my it is the prittiest colour you've seen or had. It is really light pink, very nude with lots of shimmer and it is not super glossy it is just the best. Now you can understand my disappointment with the Bewitched. You kind want one lipgloss to be really light, another in the middle and third to be very strong. That's not the case in this calendar. 

I wore this pretty much every day. I ditched my bright lipsticks and just wore this nude pinky lipgloss for weeks. 

I love that they are in the little tubs with only 5ml of product. I will be sad to finish Macaroon but I like that they are so portable and you'll probably use them before they'll go out of date. 

I also just love love love the smell of it. To me it smells like melted toffee and it just remind me of my childhood. 

As these are a limited edition products it might seem a little pointless to write this blog post. However, next Christmas Tanya Burr is bringing out another Christmas range and I urge you to get it. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Golden Skin Roll-On

One of my favourite products from a Glossybox is this roll- on under eye gel. I have never heard of a brand Être belle but I have high hopes for it now. I was never into roll-on gel for your eyes but seriously you need to try it if you haven't. The metal ball is so cold and it is refreshing under your eyes. It is like giving water to a fish that has been on the shore for far too long. 

The actual gel is quite nice too, it smells quite luxurious but the smell is faint. It feels very moisturising without it being greasy. It also has golden glitter but not too much of it, you can't even see it and it doesn't tan your skin like I thought it would once I read the title. 

It relieves stress from under eyes and you can use it both day and night. The gel soothes and smoothes and makes you feel refreshed and honestly it does do that. I didn't believe it at first I just like the cooling sensation but when I looked back in the mirror a few minutes after I put it on I realised that it made me look more awake.

You can get it online for 19.95 euro which should be about £16-17. 

I highly recommend this products on tired eyes and someone who get eye bags or dark circles or anyone who's eyes get super tired during the day, you will not regret it.

Black Magic Mascara

I have heard many people talk about this mascara and I always wanted to try it but because you can't buy it in shops I never actually purchased it.  Not gonna lie I got this one from a magazine for free, I believe it was inStyle. This tube is only 4ml and the original is 8ml. The price of the original is £18 and you can buy it online. 

I haven't used it that much to really like it or hate it. In fact I only used it twice and it was just like a normal mascara. However, I just read the back of the mascara and it says "water-resistant finish." and that it is infused with "Keratin and Shea butter for long term lash care." This caught my attention and now I really wanna use it a lot to see if I notice any difference or fall in or out of love with it.

MUA Eyeshadows

My last product from Glossybox is this MUA eyeshadow palette called Undressed. It is amazing and cheap palette that you can have. It has very neutral colours although most of them are shimmery/glittery. 

This palette can be found at superdug and online and only cost £4, bargain if you ask me! 

It consist of 12 colours (from top left to right): Puff, Rose Ash, Fawn, Gild, Hazel, Lion, Bronze Ore, Burnished Brown, Tawny, Henna, Fuel, Cool Grey. 

I haven't used them all but I tried a few of them. It is a shame that only Hazel is matte colour (which is amazing for crease). I wish there were a few more but nevertheless I still love it. My favorite is Burnished Brown I use it all of the time. It is rusty but not ginger and quite dark and very shimmery. 

I usually apply some sort of cream eyeshadow underneath and that way the colour stay on pretty well. I tried without cream eyeshadow and it creased in a few hours.

The colours are very pigmented and they don't fall out as much as Urban Decay does which is always a good thing. 

All in all this is a great cheap product to have on hand or even as a gift as it has a good verity of colours. 

I absolutely love this palette and I would recommend it to everyone!

Natural Falsies

To continue my finds at Glossybox the second product I am going to talk about us these lashes. I have quite long eye lashes so I don't really go for false lashes. However, recently I fell in love with false eyelashes. My own eyelashes are quite long so the only reason why I use falsies is to create more volume. I usually stick to individual lashes because I find them easy to apply and I am in control of them. They are also quite fluffy so it gives me nice volume. I am crap at applying full eye falsies on myself. I know how to do it on other people but not on myself. I also think my eyelash shape makes it even trickier to apply. 

Anyway, I have tied to apply these lashes once and I must stay they are very natural. They are as long as my own lashes so it just creates more volume rather than length. I have used the glue that comes in this box but I really don't like it. I don't think it is as stick as I would like it to be and it dries out really quickly. 

I am thinking to cut these and to make them corner lashes because I like having that elongated eye look. 

Eyelure as a brand is amazing and I think you need to try quite a few pairs to know what suits you the best. You also need a lot of practice to know how to apply them on yourself so give it some time!

They are about £5 but you can find many different types of eyelashes for no more than £6.

You can always reuse them quite a few times but not too many because the bacteria will grow on these lashes and you might infect your eyes. To prolong them I suggest you apply mascara first and then false lashes that way won't have any product on them and you can use them for longer.

Beauty Box

I have known about Beauty Boxes even before they were IT but I never managed to get one.The first one I ever discovered was Glossybox. I have heard many good things about it. It uses really nice products and some of them are full size. 

You can get different subscription but it usually cost £10 + p&p (which is £3.95) per box. You can order yours here. 

You get a few leaflets in this. I had Graze box voucher, a thank you card from Glossybox and a card where all the products are listed and how to use them and their full size prices.

All I say now is that I am extremely happy with this box and I also think this would make a great gift for your beauty lover friends.

Lash sensation

I have heard many many good things said about this mascara but also many negative or shall I say neutral things about. I was tempted to try it out but I was also scared that it just gonna be a mascara that doesn't do much. I was wrong. 

To my surprise it works wonders for me. I haven't found a mascara that doesn't drop after a long day. Especially when you are out all day and you get home looking like panda - literally. I hate that and it always happens to me. However, this mascara saved me from that. I cannot say that it doesn't drop what so ever it does but not a lot so I don't come home with panda eyes. 

I also really like the brush. It is quite big, one side of the brush is small bristles which is amazing for your bottom lashes and long bristles on the other side, which is amazing for making your lashes long and combed properly. I really need to start adding pics on how it looks on my eyes.

You can find Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara everywhere: superdrug, boots, food groceries, internet. It is priced £7.99 and it comes as a waterproof and also has too different black colours. Personally I don't understand what is the point of having Very black and Intense black but hey ho what can I say. 

I really like this mascara as it does work well with me but this is one of those products that you have to try for yourself. It could just a normal mascara without any impact on your make up or it could be a saver.

Barry M Glitter Dream

Since in the UK everywhere is Christmas. All our shops are Christmas ready and playing Christmas music. Lots of ice rings and fairy lights, Christmas trees are also out. Oh I forgot to mention Christmas drinks, but that is for another post! 

I feel that is only fair to introduce Christmas friendly products as a lot of people are staring to think what they gonna be wearing on Christmas and New Years and what make-up look will go with their clothes. Christmas time is very magical and glitter is magical too so I think it is the best time to go all out on the glitter and who does better glitter dust than Barry M? 

Well yeah, there are expensive make up brands like MAC for glitter powder but what about cheap options. 

Here I have two different types. One is Dazzle Dust (on your left) and the colour is 90. Which is a purple colour. Dazzle dust is more of a loose eyeshadow rather than a glitter. 

The one on the right is Fine Glitter Dust in colour 21. This one is like a really dark eyeshadow with green glitter. It is very pigmented eyeshadow with a lot of glitter.

Both of these are very messy. Use shields and maybe apply them before your foundation because they will drop everywhere. They are super pigmented but quite workable. However messy they might be I love them to bits! 

They are price at £4.59, which is quite good for a really pretty product that will last you forever, literally. However recently I noticed that Boots or Superdrug don't have it in stock. Maybe the big stores will stock it and you can definitely buy it online.

Eyeshadow Pencil

I have heard a lot of good stuff about this eyeshadow pencil so I though I would give a try myself.

It is a Collection Eyeshadow Pencil in colour Vintage Blush 3. I like this colour as it is very light and natural even but it is with a lot of glitter particles. I usually use it as my primer and it does a really good job, must I say. It literally sets within seconds so you have to put it on and blend straight away as it will not move what's so ever. It also says that it is waterproof and long lasting. I never tried it in water but it does lasts a bit. I actually think it works a lot better if you apply eyeshadow on top of it but it would still last you for a while on its own. 

I never had any problems taking it off so I don't think you will too. It is quite cheap (£3.19) for a preduct that is in between eyeshadow and a eyeshadow primer and you get so much in the tub it will probably last you a life time. They do come in a few different colours and you can find it pretty much everywhere.
