Topshop Red Lip #1

I have heard so so so so many good things about Topshop make-up but I have never tried any of it. I was on feelunique website and I bought this red wine lipstick. I thought the colour is so pretty and it is also matte which I like. Also if you have small lips and you want them to look bigger always go for Matte products.
Many people might not agree with me but I was not impressed. I thought it was highly overpriced for what the product is. I like the packaging and I love how it feels in you hand but I don't like the product. It stains the drier bits of your lips darker than the rest of your lip, it doesn't go on as smoothly or as pigmented as you would like. Although it doesn't dry your lips, it wears fine but I really don't like the effort I have to put into applying this lipstick for it to look good.
I also love the colour but you really have to work the lipstick in to get that colour.
This lipstick colour is called Beguiled and it costs £8.
Seriously this lipstick put me off Topshop make up for good. Maybe I got a weird lipstick but I don't want to try any more.

What is your experience with Topshop make up? What do you swear by?

Nude Attitude

The fourth product from Glossybox is this Revlon Lipstick. I am not a fan of nudes. I have nudes but I rarely use them. I love my bright lipsticks, I think they suit me well and I don't have any confidence issues wearing them. Also I feel like nudes look so much better on people with darker skin. They skin and brown eyes are enough colour whereas I am super pale with God knows what colour eyes.
This one is a matte finish and it is very pigmented so you will need to make sure your lips are smotth and scrubbed. It is very much like MAC Satin lipstick, very rich yet matte.
The colour of this lipstick is 001 Nude Attitude  and to be honest on me it seems a little bit orange. In the tube the lipstick looks like it is foundation colour but it has orange undertone. I feel like this would be nice colour on darker skin rather than on pale as it makes me look ill. And, that is what nude lipsticks do to you if you don't get the right colour.
The price of this lipstick is £7.99 and you can find it at superdrugs, you might find luck in other shops and you most definitely find it online.
Revlon has a big range of colours and I am sure you will find you perfect match as for the actual quality for the lipstick I really like it! It is a great quality drug store lipstick for yourself and as a gift.
