Changes

Hello everybody,

I wanted to make a blog post about my blogging. Not something that I've done in the past or new realisations but just blogging in general. My thoughts on new segments, my experience and basically everything that has been bubbling in me.
I haven't taken blogging seriously. I love it so much and I also love reading other blogs but I never do it constantly. I would blog and write 5 new posts that I would schedule every day and then I wouldn't even open blogger for two weeks. I feel like I need some structure in my life. I love blogging and sharing my mind, it is as if this is my little corner where I cleanse and feel happy and lively again.
Recently I realised that if you want to change something you need to plan but plan it properly. You need a weekly chart with things you want to do and when you want to do them that way you will be obliged to do what paper says. I don't know why but honestly this works, well you do need to add a little motivation and will.
I also want to make new friends and I want to get to know some of the bloggers and to know this community. While being on a new friends topic I also want to make collab posts. I have one in mind with my friends who also blogs so do stay tuned for that.
Speaking of new segments I want to include maybe a monthly favourite segment. I know all the youtubers are doing those but honestly I love discovering new things that actually work for people.
I also want to add more cooking posts. I love cooking and I love baking. I discovered a healthy food book and I just love making all the dishes from those recipes. I want to share them with you!
I am open for any suggestions and collabs as well as new friendships!

I really want to perfect my blog and create this make-up obsessed place where I can come and rewind.

Is there something I am missing? What can I change? What would you like to see?

Yours Izabele

The Benefits of Coconut Oil

I am pretty sure you all heard something about coconut oil? Some use it for cooking, some for their body and some for hair. I use it for my hair and I also have a separate tub that I use for cooking.
I only just discovered about cooking with oil, I have heard people say good things about it but I never actually bough the oil to cook with. Once I made the granola bars, that I will do a post about, and I had lots of oil left so I started using it in cooking. I usually use it in the mornings when I have my scrambled eggs. Some times it doesn't taste of nothing sometimes it adds some nutty flavour to the food. I notice that it gives nutty flavour if I am frying broccoli and some runner beans with my scramble eggs. I think it works amazing with vegetables. One small thing about coconut oil is when you turn the flame right up and add something to the pan it releases a strange smell that is unpleasant but it goes away quickly, well if you have windows open it does.
Oil for hair is completely different topic. I actually love using it for my hair. I have naturally curly hair and whenever I use it, (when I use it I tend to run it from roots to the tips and do it the night before I wash my hair) it makes my hair alive. It gives back the curl to the hair and all the baby hairs around my face curl up even more and I love that effect. The curlier/crazier my hair is the better it looks. It does make my hair softer but then again my hair is always soft.
I feel like coconut oil doesn't have enough moisture for my skin so that is the reason why I don't use it on my skin, having said that a few months ago I had a disagreeing with my skin and it used to burn whenever I'd put foundation or moisturiser on my skin so I used coconut oils as it is natural... and I survived. It didn't reacted with my skin a single bit although I felt like I needed some moisture.

I recommend this if you have curly hair or you just want to give some love to your hair and scalp it is really great way to naturally treat your hair. Of course nothing will change in one use so give it a good try before judging it.

Yours Izabele
xoxo
