The Benefits of Coconut Oil

I am pretty sure you all heard something about coconut oil? Some use it for cooking, some for their body and some for hair. I use it for my hair and I also have a separate tub that I use for cooking.
I only just discovered about cooking with oil, I have heard people say good things about it but I never actually bough the oil to cook with. Once I made the granola bars, that I will do a post about, and I had lots of oil left so I started using it in cooking. I usually use it in the mornings when I have my scrambled eggs. Some times it doesn't taste of nothing sometimes it adds some nutty flavour to the food. I notice that it gives nutty flavour if I am frying broccoli and some runner beans with my scramble eggs. I think it works amazing with vegetables. One small thing about coconut oil is when you turn the flame right up and add something to the pan it releases a strange smell that is unpleasant but it goes away quickly, well if you have windows open it does.
Oil for hair is completely different topic. I actually love using it for my hair. I have naturally curly hair and whenever I use it, (when I use it I tend to run it from roots to the tips and do it the night before I wash my hair) it makes my hair alive. It gives back the curl to the hair and all the baby hairs around my face curl up even more and I love that effect. The curlier/crazier my hair is the better it looks. It does make my hair softer but then again my hair is always soft.
I feel like coconut oil doesn't have enough moisture for my skin so that is the reason why I don't use it on my skin, having said that a few months ago I had a disagreeing with my skin and it used to burn whenever I'd put foundation or moisturiser on my skin so I used coconut oils as it is natural... and I survived. It didn't reacted with my skin a single bit although I felt like I needed some moisture.

I recommend this if you have curly hair or you just want to give some love to your hair and scalp it is really great way to naturally treat your hair. Of course nothing will change in one use so give it a good try before judging it.

Hair care

Hair! Hair! Hair!

Hello pretties! So I though I might just give you a little update on what styling products
I use to make my hair even curlier and to look after my end.

 1. Macadamia Oil Extract Hair Treatment - quite recently I was just walking around Lidl trying to figure out what to buy for dinner and I noticed shower section and everything was 99p so I thought why don't I have a look, and then I spotted this little gem. Seriously I cannot describe how good this is. It leaves your hair soft, it smells like super luxury product and it is so cheap. However, this is a hair mask so better use it once a week otherwise your hair will get too much of this goodness - and that's not good!

2. Avon Advance Techniques 360 Nourishment Moroccan Argan Oil -  A lot of Moroccan Argan oil are good however, I really didn't like Elvive so I bought this one to try and it is really good. It keeps your hair protected from everything and it smells really good as well. It should leave your hair shiny however, I haven't noticed that.
I use this on both dry and wet hair.

3. Kiko Curly Hair Serum - oh... my....goodness.... seriously it is probably the best thing ever for your curls. It works so well and smells soooo gooooood! The curls are nice and light and also they go all in one direction. You can use this on both wet and dry hair however, I mostly use it on wet hair and let it dry by itself and it forms really nice curls. It gives some lightness to the curls. HOWEVER, this has been discontinued so if by any chance you can get your hands on this grab it!!! Also it comes as serum for straight hair and just a hair serum.

4. TRESemme Heat Defence - honestly I have no idea what a heat defense spray should do but I can tell you that this did protect my hair, I didn't have a lot of split end once I started using it. One thing that I really like about it, is the smell. It smells fabulous. That's all I'm saying.

5. Batiste Dry Shampoo -  ahhh I love this. One really good thing about this, is if you are blond and you have the roots showing this will hide them and trust me it will. Maybe not fully but your roots will be unnoticeable. To me this is the one that smells the best but I do like the one with cherries too. On the down side it leaves the scalp very powdery if you touch it. So if you are planning to impress someone you better wash your hair rather than use this because once they touch your hair they won't like it, for sure!

This is my little collection that I use A LOT. I didn't want to mention any shampoos
because that's just everybody's preferences however, if you really interested then I quite like TGI, Wella, Pantene or any of Garnier new range ones. I hope you like this one. ;)

Yours Izabele
 xoxo

P.S. Do not quote me on any of my opinions of any products, What works for me might not work for you, we are all individual and we are all unique. I can only tell you if I liked it or not but it might be a completely different experience with you.
