Christmasy Nails

The last product from December Glossybox is the most Christmasy I think. It is a Collection Long Lasting Nail Effect in colour Strawberry Gold. I don't think it is strawberry it is more of a purpuly colour with lots and lots of gold fine glitter. The price of this nail polish is £2.99 and it is actually really long-er lasting than most nail polishes.
I like as it dries quite quickly and in dries in a thin layer of nail polish so it doesn't feel like you have a full coat of gel on your nails. I don't know why but the colour of this polish to me is super Christmasy so I loved wearing it before Christmas and for New Year.
It is really a great nail polish and I would really recommend Collection for nail polishes or just any make up from that brand.

Are you liking Collection  stuff? what is your favourite?

Last minute Christmas presents

I actually wanted to make a Christmas present blog post giving you all some ideas but alas I am too late now. I thought I might make last minute presents blog. I just wanna make you less stressed and point you to a right direction for little presents and stock fillers.

My first advice is stop stressing and think of presents that are very useful and nice to receive and gift. Things like shower gel, bubble bath bombs, candles, cushions, scarves and gloves. Some people might say ahh gifting shower gel is a bit weird because it could hint that they need a wash, but seriously I would love to receive winter smelling shower gel as I wouldn't but it for my self and sometimes you want to change things up. Especially if you are gifting it to men as they might not care much of the scent of the shower gel and gifting wintery smelling shower gel might make them feel loved. The same goes for gloves and scarves, I always used to thing why would you want so many different gloves or scarves but as I grew older I started to want different gloves and scarves that goes with different outfits. Candles are always good presents for candle lovers. Once I heard a woman say that it is super nice to receive an expensive candle such as Jo Malone because you wouldn't spend that much money on a single candle for yourself, it is a nice thought that someone would.

My another advice is don't forget supermarkets. They are full of great things from home wear to clothes to chocolates to mugs to useful electronics. Take your time and just walk around the supermarket and investigate and I promise you will definitely find some stocking fillers or small presents to bring your Christmas present together.

I wish you stressless last minute Christmas shopping and a very Merry Christmas!

Festive Christmas Drinks

As soon as pumpking spice latte came out I was excited about Christmas drinks. Not long after pumpkin spice late all the Christmas Drinks came out too. I was very excited about Costa drinks as they had a big range of festive drinks and I really love costa coffee.

The first drink I had was Salted Caramel Cappuccino from Costa. It sounded super nice but ended up tasting like caramel Cappuccino. I think when you use things that dissolve in liquids it's not gonna be the same. Like salted caramel cakes are fine because you can taste caramel and the salt, but when it is in a drink then the salt dissolves and you are just left with caramel drink. 2 out of 5.

Then I had Caramel Fudge Chocolate from Costa. OMG THIS ONE IS GOOD. Yeah it deserves capitals! It is just so chocolaty chocolate goodness. It taste so chocolaty and that chocolate net thing on the top sinks to the bottom and the last few sips you have rich hot chocolate and melted actual hot chocolate! I want it now! This is how hot chocolate should be, very rich and chocolaty and the best! Please try it. 5 out of 5.

Then I tried Black Forest and Gingerbread Latte. These are my least favorite drinks from the whole range. I am not fan of ginger yet it did make me feel quite festive and it wasn't so bad. Black forest hot chocolate was like normal hot chocolate but with cherry sauce which is nice but it wasn't Caramel Fudge Hot Chocolate. Both I score 3 out of 5.

I didn't get to try White Hot Chocolate from Costa last year so I made sure I tried it this year because people were going crazy for it. To be honest I don't see what the fuss is about. It is okay, it taste a little different from the normal hot chocolate but to me it tasted very milky. I score this white chocolate a 2 out of 5.

Then I tried Starbucks  Eggnog Latte which was very festive yet very rich in flavour and it tasted like liquor a little bit. I had to through it away half way through because it was just making me feel sick. it was like Baileys being made into a latte. Not for me. 1 out of 5.

The last drink I tried was Honey & Almond Hot Chocolate and Toffee Nut Latte. If you like marzipan you will love Honey & Almond Hot chocolate. It tastes very almondy and personally I don't like marzipan but with good conversation I finished the whole thing and I kind of liked it at the end. I also like that it comes with chocolate whipped cream, I thought that was interesting and new. 3 out of 5.
Toffee Nut Latte on the other hand I really liked. It tastes like nuts and latte and recently I feel in love with the taste of nuts. I opt for nutty ice-cream and cakes if I have them. This one I score a 4 out of 5.

Of course there are many more coffee shops and Christmas drinks to try out but I just got cautious of how much sugar goes in those drinks and I just stopped getting them. they are also quite expensive from £2.50 and up to £4.
If you have any good suggestions I am open to them so please let me know.
Enjoy your Festive drinks!

Christmas in London

Christmas in big cities like London comes early and it also comes big. From lots and lost of shop windows themed Christmas, to street lights and street decorations and I don't mean just I central London.
Lots of festive drinks and Christmas menus at the restaurants. Of course a lot of people pay a lot of money to come and see this beauty but when you live here it gets a little bit too overwhelming. I am not saying that I would like to see less decorations and less fairy lights, all I'm saying is that living in cities like these gets expensive. Not only you have an endless Christmas present list to buy but you also have these coffee shops on all the couriers selling all these deliciously sounding drinks.
I have visited Winter Wonderland this year. I think I've been there once but it was years ago when Winter Wonderland wasn't big deal and when it wasn't that big of attraction.
Now however, it is the place to be! I really enjoyed my stay, it was a really cold evening but all the mulled wine and tea and food made me warm and going. It is extremely big and it has so much to do yet very expensive. I found that it was very German inspired. It had lots of German food stalls and German tent bars and music. Although the music was good and the entertainment side was good too. It had lots and lots of rides to suit everyone's liking, a lot of them were scary rides. I am not fan of roller coasters or any spinning rides I just don't like it. So majority of things wasn't for me but I did go on a giant wheel which was really cool and the London skyline was visible too which was really pretty. Sadly the cubicles had glass and the pictures were really bad quality and you cannot see the real thing but I suppose that's why you should experience these things ourselves rather than view it through pictures. The mulled wine, waffles, fairy lights and all the Christmas presents made me feel super festive! I hope that you get to experience this little place of magic and once you there don't worry about people watching you, just enjoy yourself!

Festivities

Well it's Halloween and I am already listening to Christmas playlist but to tell you the truth I always used to have a sneaky listen to Christmas songs even in the middle of summer!

I never really celebrated Halloween but this year I went all out! Spooky pizzas and scary cakes. I also searched the whole of Pinterest for some decoration ideas and found a few good ones that I am re-creating. Pinterest is an amazing place for ideas however cute or scary you want them to be.

Preparation for Halloween is amazing but I am more exited about Christmas. I love Christmas so much and every year I put more and more effort into it. I already have a few Christmas presents and funny enough I already bought Christmas presents for my mum and she is a nightmare to shop for!

As you know I love Autumn and it feels so festive now. All the fallen leaves and chilly days and pumpkin spice lattes...ahh....
It feels quite magical and super festive this year. This also make me wanna do good this year.

I hope you are feeling festivities too and I with you Spooky Halloween!!

Trick or tear?
