Eight Hour Protection

Hello my loves,

I realised that I never greet you all in my posts. I am just so excited to talk about the topic that I always forget to greet!
Also I must apologise for being of radar recently, you know the end of the educational year, way to many things to think about. But I am back and hopefully will not disappear this time!

First thing up is this Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Hand Cream. It is suppose to be intensive care and very good for you skin. It is a little bit pricy (£26) but I am sure you have heard about this somewhere. Elizabeth Arden has two kinds of Eight Hour creams, one is skin protector that is yellow in colour and it looks a bit like vaseline and also this cream which is a cream version that isn't as rich and is white in colour.
I really wanted the richer one for the winter, however I accidentally bought this instead. To my surprise I like this one more than the richer formula. This is still very intense and rich but it absorbs so much quicker and I like the smell of this. Whereas richer formula smells like sheep.
However after purchasing this and using for a good couple of weeks and being moderately happy with this Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour cream  I bought The Body Shop Hem cream (I will link the review here), it is so much better and half the price.
I kind of hid the Elizabeth Arden one away and could not stop using The Body Shop Hem cream.
I do think I will bring this cream out now to use it for spring and summer as my hands are not exposed to very cold weather anymore they just need a little bit of TLC (tender, loving, care for those who don't know).
If you really wanted to try how these products works for you I would highly recommend getting samples or trying at your friends house or even go to debenhams and try it there a few times. It is an expensive product that could work for you wonders, unfortunately it didn't do much for me. If you want to invest in this you have to be certain that it is the best for you. If not please try out The Body Shop one I guarantee you will love it.

Tell me about your moisturisers? What is your favourite cream? What are you using at the moment? Do you like it?

Make a Change

In winter time I get very dry hands. They go really red and dry where my knuckles are. I hate that so I am always on a hunt for something heavy duty. I love applying hand cream before bed so I really don't care if it is greasy or not as long as it does the job.
I was at The Body Shop picking a few skin care things and this cream was one of their top 5 most popular items in store. The representative explained all about the donation part as well as how, when to use it.
Oh my this cream is amazing!
First things first, it is unisex so men and women could wear it. To be honest I would say a man would love this smell more than a woman do. Personally I don't like it. To me it smells like clay with some plants and you'd think it could be a spa kind of smell but it is so active that it isn't relaxing.
It comes in a green colour, not too pigmented and it is really rich and it blends in well. You don't need a lot of the product either. It is made from hemp seeds which are from cannabis flower. I know it might sound a little bit scare, trust me I am the biggest anti-drug person, but hemp seeds have so many medical qualities and they are so good to use and even eat as they contain so many good nourishing oils and vitamins.
After application you can feel that something is on your hands but it is not oily or greasy it is soft and it kind of feels as if your hands are a little bit clammy.
As it is heavy duty moisturiser the best way to use it is before you go to sleep. I usually put it on as I finish scrolling through my phone and then I go to bed.
I am not lying my hands are soooo soft the next day it is unbelievable and it stays soft if I forget to use the the next day. Throughout the winter I have been using it and I can only say good things about it.
Not only it is good for your skin but it is also a product that keeps on giving. It costs £11 and £1.50 goes to planet, animals and people as a donation.
I personally think that this is the best heavy duty moisturiser I have ever tried. It also helps our planet!

What hand creams are you using? Do you know any heavy duty creams?

Leafy & Lovely

I was shopping, as always, at superdrug and my eye caught this little thing. It was only a £1 but it had really beautiful box and a pretty name. I quite likes the sound of Summer Meadow. I bought it so I can have a hand cream in my bag as I don't have one and this one was cheap.
The packaging is very pretty and I like this new tub they make for every hand cream there is. The smell of this is really refreshing and very soothing. It's one of those smells you'd get at the spa or something. It isn't very strong but it is very earthy and you can smell the sweetness but it isn't too sickly. The sent doesn't linger for long on your hands afterwards but it is there very faintly.
The cream itself isn't very creamy or moisturising I'd say it is quite watery. I must say it leaves your hands feeling nicely refreshed. To be honest I love that it is not rich as I personally don't like when my hands are greasy especially in the public. If I have dry hands I would just use other hands creams that I have to really moisturise it. This one is amazing just for freshening up
